Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov is one of the leading regional universities in Northern Kazakhstan. The University was founded in 1996. Today KokSU is a modern, dynamically developing university. The teaching staff consists of more than 500 professors. The university has more than 6,000 students. The University offers 65 bachelor's degree programs (4 years), including 5 in the field of healthcare, 30 master's degree programs (2 years), 6 doctoral programs (3 years). The educational process at the university is adopted in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process on the basis of ECTS and university-company relations. There is a medical faculty here. One of the priority tasks of KokSU is to ensure the competitiveness of graduates. international recognition of diplomas and high economic and social status of the teaching staff. Teachers and students participate in international educational programs, such as: DAAD, IREX, LOGO, Erasmus +, Erasmus Mundus, state scholarships "Bundestag", "Bolashak". The University is actively implementing an academic mobility program for teachers and students. Over the past 11 years, the university has implemented 6 joint educational projects TEMPUS IV, 7 joint educational projects Erasmus + KA1 CBHE. Today, the university ranks fifth in the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of the number of completed and ongoing educational projects implemented jointly with European institutions. On August 17, 2008, our university received the "EUROPEAN QUALITY" award. at Oxford on Quality Management in Education. Since 2010, KokSU has been a member of the Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, Italy).
